Teacher Tone was formed in 2006 by a group of leading NYC music teachers. We wanted to offer students high-quality, enjoyable and engaging lessons in their home or office or in our teachers' studios. The idea is to give the community convenient access to New York City's best piano, guitar, voice, bass, and string teachers in all five boroughs.

Our teachers have a wide range of specialties, so we make sure to get to know our students' musical interests before they begin taking lessons. We have an excellent teacher-student matching system, and we firmly believe that having the right teacher gives students the inspiration and comfort they need to excel in playing their chosen instrument. And as we know how important it is to be comfortable and relaxed in your learning environment, we take every measure to give you as much convenience as possible.

As fellow New Yorkers, we know the lifestyle here is fast-paced and it's common to work 80 hours a week. To make it easy for you to learn to play your instrument, all of our teachers give lessons in your home or office at a time and day of your choosing. We are fully committed to giving you the most convenient private lessons possible with the highest caliber teachers in New York, as well as an extremely enjoyable and engaging learning environment.
